Fellow Community Members,
It is my honor to represent you as Chair of our Board for the 2019 term starting October 1. I would first like to thank our outgoing Chair David Lyle for his tireless dedication to bringing PipelinePros into existence and serving as our Chair for the first two years of operation. Also, a special thank you as well to all of you- with our combined efforts the first two years have been an outstanding success. We have more than 1,000 people actively engaged representing over 200 organizations through newsletters, virtual conferences, the online community and two very successful annual conferences in Chicago and Denver. Quite a set of accomplishments. Bravo!
Throughout my year as Chair I plan to keep the focus on growing our member base through 1) stronger partnership and coordination with Oracle to reach existing and new customers; 2) direct outreach to the global customer base through in-person regional meetings; and 3) additional initiatives around online content and community to add more value into your membership package. Our work with the Oracle Product and Marketing teams will assist us in our mission of advocating for the future direction of the Oracle Commerce product. This will only be fully realized by a larger, stronger community and increased collaboration between Oracle and PipelinePros.
Together we are working to add more value to every customer and service provider’s decision to invest in Oracle Commerce, by connecting practitioners and subject matter experts, sharing experiences and leading practices, as well as bringing back the best ideas from the wider community into our own organizations to drive our businesses forward. Please continue to engage myself, our board, and our Executive Director, Anna Taylor in dialog on how we can drive the community forward and meet your needs. Onward together!
